Respon Petani Terhadap Pemanfaatan Lahan Pekarangan Sebagai Upaya Mendukung Ketahanan Pangan di Desa Kuala Dua Kecamatan Sungai Raya Kabupaten Kubu Raya

Abstract

This study aims to determine the response of farmers to the use of their yard as an effort to support food security in Kuala Dua Village, Sungai Raya District, Kubu Raya Regency, and to determine the relationship between the response variables in the form of knowledge, attitudes, and skills of farmers towards the use of their yard in farmer groups in Kuala Dua Village, Sungai Raya District, Kubu Raya District. This research was conducted at Gapoktan joint sources in Kuala Dua Village, Sungai Raya District, Kubu Raya Regency for two months starting from April 2023 to May 2023. This final project study was carried out using descriptive qualitative and quantitative methods, by collecting, processing, analyzing, as well as presenting the results of the study. The number of samples in this study were 30 farmers. The observational variables in this research are the characteristics of the respondents and the responses of the farmers which include attitudes, knowledge and skills. Prior to data collection, the research instrument was tested for validity and reliability testing. Analysis of the research data used the Likert Scale range to determine the response of the petan and carried out the Chi Square Correlation Test. In addition, counseling design and implementation of counseling were also carried out in relation to this research. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the response of farmers to the use of their yard as an effort to support food security in Kuala Dua Village, Sungai Raya District, Kubu Raya Regency is very good. There is a response variable relationship in the form of farmers' knowledge of the use of yards in farmer groups in Kuala Dua Village, Sungai Raya District, Kubu Raya Regency. There is a response variable relationship in the form of farmers' attitudes towards the use of their yards in farmer groups in Kuala Dua Village, Sungai Raya District, Kubu Raya Regency. There is a response variable relationship in the form of farmers' skills on the use of yard land in farmer groups in Kuala Dua Village, Sungai Raya District, Kubu Raya Regency. Extension activities based on aspects of knowledge, attitudes and knowledge are quite effective.
