Resources of the Personal Services Sphere

Abstract

The draft of the Guidelines for the Economic and Social Development of the USSR for 1986-1990 and the Period Ending in 2000 places particular emphasis on the need for the accelerated development of the Soviet economy's consumption sphere. One of the most important tasks of all the nation's branches, republics, and regions without exception, the Guidelines state, is to increase their contribution to the solution of the many different problems associated with improving the wellbeing of the Soviet people and to consistently implement the Comprehensive Program for the Development of Consumer Goods Production and the Service Sphere for the Period 1986-2000.
