Abstract

This resource guide is intended to direct those interested in further reading on video art to pertinent recent books and exhibition catalogues dealing with video, periodicals, and distributors of video. As a means of pointing to key works in the history of video, a comprehensive listing of single-channel videotapes and video installations included in the Whitney Biennial exhibitions since the Biennial's first inclusion of video in 1975 has been provided.
