Abstract

Purpose of the study. Development of a new medical technology for the resort treatment of patients with arterial hypertension (AH) with the combined use of transcranial magnetic therapy (TMT). Material and methods. The study involved 60 patients with stage 1 AH, divided into 4 groups in accordance with the simple fixed randomization procedure. The patients in the control group (CG; n=30 people) received a basic complex of resort treatment (nebivolol, exercise therapy, group psychotherapy), while in the main group (MG; n=30 people), the patients were additionally prescribed TMT. The criteria for evaluating the effectiveness were as follows: the dynamics of indicators of daily blood pressure monitoring (DBPM), heart rate variability, and the parameters of the microcirculatory tissue system. Results. The dynamics of DBPM indicators shows that the positive changes in the estimated parameters in the MG were more pronounced and significantly different from the dynamics of the control group. The hypotensive effect of the course use of TMT in patients with stage 1 hypertension manifested itself in a decrease in SBP and DBP by an average of 10.2 % and 12.8 %, respectively (p<0.05), as well as a decrease in mean blood pressure by 13.2 % (p< 0.05). In general, as a result of the TMT course use, a significant decrease in the average daily and average night SBP levels was achieved. The evaluation of the clinical and functional state of the patients with hypertension 6 months after the end of resort treatment based on the combined TMT use proves the superiority of the proposed technique over the basic treatment regimen by 33 %. Conclusion. The use of TMT in the resort treatment of patients with stage 1 hypertension contributes to a significant increase in therapeutic measures: the hypotensive effect of the course use manifested itself in a decrease in SBP and DBP by 10.2 % and 12.8 %, respectively (p<0.05), as well as a decrease in mean blood pressure by 13.2 % (p<0.05).
