Abstract
We report on ab initio calculations of resonant cross sectionsfor dissociative attachment and vibrational excitation processesin low-energy electron collisions with the CF3Cl molecule.Collision energies up to 3 eV are considered. The results arecompared with available experimental data and other theoreticalstudies. For gas temperatures of 300 K the present results agreesatisfactorily with the experimental findings. For higher gastemperatures the influence of non-resonant effects is discussed.
