Abstract

The paper presents the complete control circuit of a simple resonant DC link (RDCL) inverter. The harmonics in the output of the inverter are reduced by employing a novel PWM scheme realized using waveform generators. The output frequency of the inverter and the number of pulses per half cycle in the PWM scheme are independently variable. The performance of the experimental inverter is studied by obtaining the waveforms of the various signals and the switching losses in the inverter. The RDCL inverter is also simulated using PSPICE. >
