Abstract
The use of time-delayed coincidence technique is proposed to measure the lifetime of nonstationary vibrational resonance states via their influence on the emission recoil-free fraction of an impurity Mössbauer atom. The splitting of resonance lines due to the interactions of impurities is taken into account.
