Abstract
The influence of resonance ($\ensuremath{\Delta}$) contributions on the electromagnetic form factors of the deuteron is calculated. The deuteron wave functions including resonance ($\ensuremath{\Delta}\ensuremath{\Delta}$) contributions are determined by a solution of six coupled equations. The effect of various baryon-baryon potentials is discussed. The numerically discussed deuteron electromagnetic form factors include also the meson-exchange contributions arising from $\ensuremath{\pi}$, $\ensuremath{\rho}$, and $\ensuremath{\omega}$ pair currents as well as from the $\ensuremath{\rho}\ensuremath{\pi}\ensuremath{\gamma}$ current.NUCLEAR REACTIONS $^{2}\mathrm{H}(e,{e}^{\ensuremath{'}})$, resonance admixtures, $\frac{d\ensuremath{\sigma}}{d\ensuremath{\Omega}}$ calculated with meson-exchange corrections.
