Abstract
In this chapter we present a set of guidelines, associated techniques and best practices to assist supervisors, consultants, tutors, managers and other leaders to proactively address critical ethical issues within the supervision setting. By offering extensive practical guidelines for anticipating, addressing and resolving ethical issues in supervision, we aim to assist clinicians and their supervisors to routinely address ethical issues and promote ethical practice in a deliberate on ongoing fashion. The 12 techniques presented in this chapter can be used to promote ethical clinical practice as well as guiding the formulation of corrective interventions in the case of specific ethical problems.
