Abstract

The overall resolution function for angular correlation devices is evaluated, removing the point source approximations. The non-uniform intensity distribution in the source is taken into account. The impact of the resolution on the features of the recorded angular correlation curves is discussed, with reference to the electron-positron system annihilation.
