Abstract
We study numerical deconvolution as a means to improve spectral resolution using the resonant Auger spectra following the 1s → 3p excitation in Ne as an example. By analyzing the asymmetry parameters of the Auger electron emission we show that intensity ratios are not affected by deconvolution.
