Abstract

A novel resistorless electronically controlled quadrature sinusoidal oscillator (ECQSO) employing two voltage differencing inverting buffered amplifiers (VDIBAs) and two capacitors have been proposed. The proposed quadrature oscillator offers electronic control of frequency of oscillation (FO), low active and passive sensitivities. Effects of non idealities of the VDIBA on the proposed oscillator have also been investigated in detail. The validity of the proposed structure has also been confirmed by SPICE simulation with TSMC 0.18 μm process parameters.
