Abstract
Electrical resistivity measurements have been made on the intermetallic compound beta '-Ni48Al52 with additions of 500 PPM 3d transition metals. The comparison of the present results with those of beta '-Ni50Al50 with the same 3d metal additions has clearly revealed a local environment effect on the local moment formation.
