Abstract

AbstractThe resistivity in the transverse and parallel directions of the superconducting misfit layer compounds (BiS)1.11(NbS2) and (BiSe)1.10(NbSe2) has been measured down to the liquid nitrogen temperature. The resistivity anisotropy for these two compounds was found to increase when the temperature is lowered and its value in the temperature range of our measurement is two orders of magnitude greater than the value expected by Lawrence and Doniach model.
