Abstract

Temperature dependence of resistivity for monocrystalline LaSn 3, LaPb 3, LuGa 3, LuIn 3 and LaIn 3 was analyzed in the temperature range 4.2–300K. A good overall fit of their resistivities to a generalized Bloch—Grüneisen formula was observed in these temperatures. The phonon resistivity at the lowest used temperatures fulfill power law ϱ ph ∼ T n with n equal to 3.86, 3.50, 3.22, 3.14 and 2.4 for the mentioned compounds, respectively. It was found also that n depends on free electron to real electron Fermi surface ratio.
