Abstract
Commercial varieties of the family Cruciferae were evaluated for resistance to Murgantia histrionica (Hahn) during 1970–72. Cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, collards, Brussels sprouts, kohl rabi, and most radish varieties were resistant, with cabbage varieties having the highest degree of resistance. Mustard, turnip, kale, rutabaga, Chinese cabbage, and 1 radish were susceptible. Chinese cabbage and mustard varieties had the highest degree or susceptibility. Resistance seemed to be of the preference or non-preference type.
