Abstract

Abstract From the 1950s an irreversible process has uprooted and transformed the traditional pastoral and agricultural society of Sardinia. Pursuing an essentially archaeological enquiry the paper explores the extent to which the changes are reflected in the island's pottery industry and seeks, through accurate definition of phenomena and their interaction, to contribute to the theory of dynamic processes that govern ceramic production.
