Abstract

This paper studies the problem of resilient H∞ filtering for discrete-time systems with norm-bounded uncertainties. The filter to be designed is assumed to have additive gain variations. Attention is focused on the design of a resilient H∞ filter such that the filtering error system is asymptotically stable and has a prescribed H∞ performance with respect to the uncertainty effects. Three different approaches are developed to design the H∞ filter, and the design conditions are presented in terms of solutions to linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Finally, an illustrative example is provided to show the effectiveness of the proposed approaches.
