Abstract
PrefaceIt is my great honor to present to you the scientific articles from the KIELCE2018 conference. This conference was organized by the Road and Bridge Research Institute (IBDiM) on 89 May 2018 in Kielce, Poland. The main theme of KIELCE2018 was Resilient and Safe Road Infrastructure. In particular, all articles were dedicated to modern pavement diagnostics and repair techniques, and are grouped into five distinct topics: Evaluation of surface properties, Materials for pavement repairs, Bearing capacity of road and airfield pavements, Modern repair techniques, and finally Non-destructive testing.As road infrastructure is vital to every country economy, I trust you find these articles both useful from the practical perspective as well as scientifically valuable. Road diagnostic and repair techniques are constantly evolving and I hope that articles from the KIELCE2018 conference will contribute to further development in these engineering areas.List of Scientific Committees and Reviewers are available in this PDF.
