Abstract
Introduction & aims: Resilience may be defined as a process of “bouncing back” from the inevitable stresses encountered in life. Higher self-reported resilience has been associated with lower levels of anxiety, depression and psychological distress. Resilience is therefore highly important and should be cultivated where possible.
