Abstract

Reports on how the automotive industry is dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic. The automotive industry has adapted to the new situation. To avoid the spread of coronavirus, only people dealing directly with equipment, such as vehicles, have been allowed back to assembly plants; the remaining staff work remotely. As a result, employers can save money on, e.g., office space, and employees report feeling less stress when commuting is removed from the equation, resulting in more efficient work hours and reduced pollution from cars.
