Abstract

Beef calves and lactating dairy cows were held in rooms treated with 0.5, 2.5, or 5% Compound 4072 (2-chlaro-1-(2,4-dichlorophenyl) vinyl diethyl phosphate) at a rate of 1 gal/500 ft.2 No residues of Compound 4072 Were found in fat or tissue samples of animals exposed to the 0.5% spray or in the milk of cows held in any of the sprayed rooms. The small residues in the omental fat of calves exposed to the 2.5 and 5% sprays had disappeared at 32 days posttreatment.
