Abstract

• We examined symptom changes with repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS). • We analyzed 68 patients with depression who achieved remission during rTMS. • Most symptoms, but not neurovegetative symptoms, improved well during rTMS. • Some neurovegetative symptoms did not emerge among those who did not have them. • These findings may help identify patients who are most likely to benefit from rTMS.
