Abstract

A 65-year-old man presented with moderately tender left superonasal and inferonasal periorbital nodules (Fig A) that developed over the previous year. Two years earlier, he suffered left orbital trauma with AW46 hydraulic oil pressurized to 5000 pounds per square inch. Sequelae including medial canthal laceration and iris sphincter tear had been previously repaired. Magnetic resonance imaging showed T1-hyperintensity of the nodules (Fig B, arrow). The patient underwent anterior orbitotomy with nodule excision.
