Abstract

Effects of methomyl, permethrin, and fenvalerate residues were tested in the laboratory on adult Pteromalus puparum (L.), a gregarious pupal parasite of the imported cabbageworm, Artogeia rapae (L.). Survival of adult female parasites exposed to the insecticides did not differ from that of untreated controls. However, significantly more males died compared with controls following exposure to methomyl for 12 h and for 6 days.
