Abstract

In this study are presented the researches regarding to the vegetation of the recreation forest B?ile Felix and 1 Mai. The chapters of the study are the following: summary, introduction, material and method, results and conclusions. The recreation forest B?ile Felix and 1 Mai, situated in the near of town Oradea, 9 km far from it, is administrated by O.S. Oradea. This is the most visited forest, not only by the inhabitants of the city, but even by tourist from abroad, who are coming to the balneary and climatic stations Felix and 1 Mai. The vegetation of a forest is the main factor of touristical attraction in case of a recreational forest. To study this kind a forest, near the well-known research methods of silviculture, it was used the program PROARB. Through this method there were installed some test markets in the forest, being part of the most representative types of forests, respectively in the management units from this forest. In these test surfaces there were measured the diameter at a height of 1,30 m, the total height of the trees, the diameter of the projection of the top of the trees on two perpendicular directions. The office studies established throw processing the information gathered from the testing field, obtaining the distribution on a vertical, horizontal and three dimensional plans of the species of the forest. The results of the research can help the systematization and arrangement of the recreation forest studied, can help to choose some other new species of trees, to create diversity and to increase its recreational value.
