Abstract
With the continuous development of global public management theories, New Public Management (NPM), as an important public management reform model, has profoundly influenced governments and their management practices worldwide. In Japan, the practice of educational administration has also been significantly influenced by the theories of New Public Management, driving the modernization and efficiency improvement of educational management. This paper aims to systematically explore the research trends in educational administration studies in Japan under New Public Management, analyzing its theoretical foundations, implementation effects, and its profound impact on educational management.
