Abstract
In the past decades, the wideband high-power microwave sources which combine the advantages of high-power density of narrow-band sources and wide spectrum of ultra-wideband sources have drawn much attention. As a kind of wideband high-power microwave source, gyromagnetic nonlinear transmission lines have the characteristics of high center frequency, easily implementation of frequency adjustment, high pulse repetition frequency, etc. Based on the history and research status of the gyromagnetic nonlinear transmission lines for the applications in high power microwaves generation, key technologies and developing trends were summarized. This research may help related scholars get information systematically about the gyromagnetic nonlinear transmission lines.
