Abstract
Parenting competence is a new index to evaluate the parents′ ability to take care of their children and it gradually becomes a new research focus in the field of nursing. It not only meets the demand for child care, but also significantly reduces the occurrence of various medical problems during perinatal period by improving parents′ parenting competence so as to enhance the level of maternal and child health care. So this paper aims to state the factors of sense of competence and provide a reference for clinical nursing staff. Key words: Parenting competence; Influencing factors; Abroad; Review
