Research status of CMT welding between Aluminum and Galvanized Steel

Abstract

In recent years, many scholars have done a lot of research on the CMT welding of aluminum and steel. The welded joints are divided into melting zone, interface zone, heat affected zone and zinc rich zone. In a certain range, the Si element in welding wire is favorable for welding. During the welding process, the choice of welding parameters has a significant effect on the weld appearance and microstructure, the zinc layer is conducive to the wetting and spreading of aluminum and is conducive to welding.
