Research Status and Application Prospect of Vehicle Active Safety Monitoring Technology

Abstract

With the rapid development of road traffic, the number of total highway mileage and vehicle ownership in the country has been continuously increasing, and the road vehicle density has also been rising, making road traffic security guarantee increasingly difficult. Vehicle active safety monitoring technology can effectively prevent and avoid the occurrence of traffic accidents, and promote the transformation of road traffic security management from post-processing to pre-prevention, which is an important research direction of safe and intelligent transportation. This paper expounds on the concept of active safety monitoring technology, summarizes the research and standardization status of this technology, and analyzes the application progress and future development trend of active safety monitoring technology in the transportation industry.
