Abstract

The research project Verde has the aim of providing a universal tool platform for the verification— and validation—orientated development of embedded systems. Verde is the abbreviation for “verification—oriented & component—based model driven engineering for real-time embedded systems”. The focus is on the integration of the tools which are already in use at the industrial partners. Verde develops new tools and methods in the areas where there are gaps in existing tool—chains and procedures. Itemis GmbH is one of the research partners and represents the cross industry project, sponsored by the BMBF,in this paper.
