Abstract

Inadvertent perioperative hypothermia causes many serious complications in surgical patients. The patient's body temperature should be measured continuously throughout surgery. Active warming should be applied intraoperatively. Postoperative patient temperature and outcomes should be evaluated. Emphasis on the clinical application of protection from Hypothermia has broad prospects for its research hotspot in recent years. This review summarizes the current knowledge on this subject.
