Abstract

For electrical equipment, seismic testing consumes a lot of resources, and the cycle is long. How to accurately obtain the seismic performance through theoretical calculation in the design stage has become the focus of engineers' attention. However, the selection of different theoretical calculation methods affects the accuracy and timeliness of seismic performance analysis of electrical equipment. To solve the rationality of the selection of seismic performance calculation methods for electrical equipment, this paper uses the method of combining the structural characteristics of electrical equipment with the principles of structural seismic analysis to determine the applicability of each theoretical calculation method, including elastic static method, response spectrum method, bottom shear method, nonlinear static method, time history analysis method, energy design method and random vibration method. It finally considers that the response spectrum method is the first choice for seismic calculation, and other methods can be used as a supplement for special cases, and looks forward to the future development direction of seismic theory calculation of electrical equipment.
