Abstract
Limbal Stem Cell Deficiency (LSCD) is an ocular surface disease caused by the decrease of the quantity and dysfunction of limbal stem cell, which is characterized by conjunctivalization and other signs of epithelial dysfunction. For sever LSCD, surgery is the main treatment way. Recently, plenty of researches published the outcomes of different operation methods. This article summarized five major operations, including conjunctival limbal autograft (CLAU), simple limbal epithelial transplantation (SLET), limbal allograft, cultivated limbal stem cell transplantation (CLET) and cultivated oral mucosal epithelial transplantation (COMET).
