Abstract
The preerythrocytic phase of malaria parasites includes sporozoites entering the host and mi-grating into liver cells. In this stage, malaria vaccine is an effective means to control malaria transmission. At present preerythrocytic vaccine research was mainly focused on the subunit vaccine and the whole parasite vaccine.Subunit vaccine is safe,easy to make,but its protective effect is limited.Whole parasite vaccine can induce sterile protection,but its production and safety are still facing many difficulites.In this article the main progress of malaria preerythrocytic vaccine was reviewed.
