Abstract
Background The assessment and management of airway is still a continuously updated clinical science. The application of ultrasonic technology in recently years provides a dynamic monitoring tool for airway management of patients in the perioperative period, emergency and intensive care unit. Objective Our study represents a review about of the application of ultrasonic technology in airway management. Content The ultrasonic anatomical structure of the respiratory tract is described and the application of ultrasound in airway management during the perioperative period is summarized. Trend Ultrasound in the perioperative management of airway can be described as a milestone in the transformation of airway management.
