Abstract

As the incidence of cancer increases and patient survival prolongs, the problem of cancer survivors has become increasingly prominent. Unlike cancer patients, they face special physical and mental problems such as short-term and long-term complications and fear of recurrence after returning to society. In recent years, researchers have reported that survivors have a positive psychological reaction of post-traumatic growth, which can help improve the physical and mental health of survivors and improve their quality of life. This paper reviews the concepts of cancer survivors and post-traumatic growth, the level of post-traumatic growth of survivors and intervention measures at home and abroad, aiming to provide a basis for the development of continuing care programs for cancer survivors with Chinese characteristics and the improvement of the quality of life of cancer survivors. Key words: Review; Neoplasms; Survivor; Post traumatic growth; Intervention measure
