Abstract

Long noncoding RNAs(lncRNAs) are a novel class of RNA molecules defined as transcripts longer than 200 nucleotides. LncRNAs may participate in the regulation of gene expression. The hepatic veno-occlusive disease(HVOD) is one of complications of hematopoietic stem cells transplantation(HSCT). Hepatocyte injury is the main feature of HVOD induced by HSCT. As the liver is an important organ in functional metabolism and energy conversion, and the severe liver function damage is one of the direct causes of death after HSCT. LncRNAs can promote the repair of injured hepatocyte, which may help to reduce the incidence of HVOD caused by HSCT.The authors summriz the research progress of lncRNAs in the proliferation, apoptosis and metastasis of liver cells. Key words: RNA; Hepatocyte; Hepatic veno-occlusive disease
