Abstract

Iron-based superconductors have been considered as the second family of high temperature superconductors after copper oxides. They have rich physical properties and potential application prospects. At the same time, they also provide new platforms for exploring the mechanism of high temperature superconductivity. Based on 33 references, several typical iron-based superconductors and their research progress were summarized. Finally, their potential applications in future were looked forward.
