Abstract

C-type lectin domain family 9 member A (CLEC9A),also known as DC-NK lectin family receptor (DNGR-1),is a specific and universal marker,on human dendritic cell(DC)cell surface.By recognizing the exposed filaments CLEC9A can identify particular filamentous actin and bind damaged cells. This can mediat cell death associated antigen cross-presentation and cause a strong cytotoxic lymphocyte (CTL) response. Thus CLEC9A plays a role in immunity and anti-tumor effect. In recent years, there has been a great progress in research of CLEC9A.The structural function, expression of CLEC9A,and its anti-tumor ability and vaccine will be addressed stated in this review. Key words: C-type lectin domain family 9 member A; Dendritic cells; Cross presenting cell; Tumor
