Abstract

If the thrombus in pulmonary artery is not completely dissolved after acute pulmonary thromboembolism, residual thrombus in the pulmonary artery can be further developed to chronic thromboembolic disease.The incidence is hidden, which affects the prognosis of patients.This article reviews the research progress of pathophysiology, clinical manifestations, diagnosis and treatment of chronic thromboembolic disease in recent years, in order to provide inspiration for clinical treatment and research and prevention of chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension.
