Abstract

Atypical chronic myeloid leukemia (aCML) is a rare hematopoietic stem cell disorder, with overlapping features of both myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) and myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN). Because of its low incidence, researchers knew less about this disease. In recent years, with the increasing number of cases with aCML and the applications of next-generation sequencing technology, researchers have studied it more deeply. This article mainly summarizes the clinical and genetic characteristics, pathogenesis, diagnosis and differential diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of aCML, aiming at deepening researchers understanding of aCML and providing references for diagnosis and treatment. Key words: Leukemia, myeloid, chronic, atypical, BCR-ABL negative; Genetics; Diagnosis; Therapeutics; Pathogenesis
