Abstract

Congenital club foot is one of the common deformities of lower limbs in orthopedics, which seriously affects the appearance and function of the foot. The complexity of the pathogenesis of congenital club foot has not been clarified so far, and it is still a hot topic in orthopedic academia at home and abroad. This article reviewed the research progress of congenital club foot from the aspects of genetics, neuromuscular disease, blood vessel, skeletal dysplasia and intrauterine pressure changes, in order to provide a new way to study its pathogenesis.
