Abstract

Bronchial asthma (asthma) is a heterogeneous chronic inflammatory airway disease.Asthmatic patients also showed significant heterogeneity in the treatment.The ADRB2 gene encoding beta 2 adrenergic receptor mutations are associated with the asthmatic susceptibility, phenotype and response to medication.This article reviewed the research progress between the ADRB2 gene polymorphisms and asthma.
