Abstract

The potential of osteogenic differentiation of adipose-derived stem cells (ADSCs) is unquestionable, but the biological mechanism of it’s specific development is unknown. In the recent years, the characteristics and functions of long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) are closely related to the osteogenic differentiation of ADSCs. Some lncRNAs in the nucleus can promote osteogenic differentiation of ADSCs, and some cytoplasmic lncRNAs can also promote osteogenic differentiation of ADSCs. Part of the effect is the opposite. Therefore, the present article aims to review the recent advances in the molecular mechanisms of lncRNAs in osteogenic differentiation of adipose-derived stem cells. In this review, we have analyzed the research ideas of lncRNAs in osteogenic differentiation of ADSCs. Key words: Long chain non-coding RNA; Adipose-derived stem cells; Osteogenic differentiation
