Abstract

This study aims to conduct a bibliometric analysis of Kurukshetra University (KUK) research publications from 2011 to 2021 and intends to assess the university’s research performance based on documents published in journals that Scopus have indexed for as long as eleven years. A total of 3482 publications were found and further analysed. In this paper, the author attempts to identify current trends in KUK research output, such as the most prolific authors, co-authored publications, highly cited papers, most chosen sources, etc. The maximum amount of research articles was seen in the year 2021. This study’s findings also show that the ‘AIP Conference Proceedings’ is the most preferred source, and Professor Rajneesh Kumar is the top productive author with the highest number of publications.
