Abstract

Forest Research Institute (FRI) is a premier institute in India under the Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education (ICFRE). This study's main aim was to examine the research productivity of the FRI, Dehradun, during 1990-2019. The data for the present study were collected from the Scopus database. VOS viewer with version 1.6.16 was adopted to visualize Co-authorship analysis, Co-occurrence analysis, and Co-citation analysis. Scientometrics indicators like author productivity, collaboration coefficient, modified collaboration coefficient, co-authorship index, etc were used. The study's findings revealed that the maximum number of publications 75(8.4%), was published in 2008 while the maximum number of publications was cited in 2007(480). The analysis also revealed that the average citation per publication was maximum in 2015(88.00). The most focused research areas are Agricultural and Biological Sciences, Environmental Science, Biochemistry, etc., present in Forest Research Institute. The most searched site for source collection is Indian Forester.
