Research possibilities in digital collections: travelreports about Goiás in the 19th century

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to reflect on research possibilities of travel reports in the 19th century about Goiás that are found in digital collections. This is the revised transcription of the lecture “Travel reports in the 19th century about Goiás and digital collections: memory, documentation and research” given in March 2021, in the extension activity “Surfing in digital collections” of the research group on Media, Technologies and History (MITECHIS) at the Federal University of Tocantins (UFT).
