Abstract

In recent years, the Characteristics of convenient installation and low carbon caused renewable energy sources researches such as wind power and solar energy becoming a key field of power system development. However, affected by the natural environment factors, the Wind power and photovoltaic power generation are intermittent and random, and the large scale of Wind power and photovoltaic power generation parallel in will make a great risk to power system operation. In this paper, the regional power system operation is Studied connected with intermittent power generation, the indicators of Reserve at risk, Energy not supply at risk conditional reserve at risk and Conditional Energy Not Supply at Risk are presented. the Evaluation of the fluctuation range of regional power grid accommodating new energy output is put forward. Considering the uncertainty of new energy output and load, the regional power grid flexibility index are established. After identifying the weak areas of power system with large scale wind power and photovoltaic power generation parallel in, the capacity and distribution requirements of Large scale wind and photovoltaic power connection to flexibly adjust power is proposed. At last, the model is verified effective.
